SATURDAY'S scheduled National League match at Stoke involving the King's Lynn Young Stars has unfortunately had to be postponed.

A Stoke Speedway statement released on Friday afternoon read:

IT is with considerable regret that we have had to postpone our match against King's Lynn due to take place on Saturday evening.

This is because further remedial works are currently taking place at the request of the Speedway Control Bureau to further improve the track environment particularly the infield in order to fully conform to their requirements. The weather in midweek has delayed this work which we had hoped to complete in time for tomorrow’s match but this has not proved possible.
