KENT V YOUNG STARS, PREVIEW

Sunday August 07, 2016
KING'S Lynn Young Stars face a tough Travel Plus National League trip to Kent on Monday (6.30).

The Stebbings Car Superstore side responded well from their heavy 64-26 defeat at league leaders Birmingham last Wednesday by inflicting the same scoreline on the Isle of Wight at home last Friday.

They now face a Kent side who have lost just twice at home in 2016 but Young Stars ace Nathan Greaves insists they have to go there with self belief.

"Kent's scores at home speak for themselves and we know it's not going to be easy," said Greaves.

"But we know if we work hard and all click on the same day then we're capable of getting a result.

"Things have been going so well at home but we know we need to start getting points in our away meetings to boost our chances of getting in the play-offs."

The Young Stars are currently seven points behind fourth placed Cradley but have three meetings in hand over the Midlands outfit.

KENT: Luke Bowen, Luke Clifton, Danny Ayres R/R, David Mason, James Shanes, Danno Verge, Jack Thomas

KING'S LYNN: Josh Bailey, Scott Campos, Ryan Kinsley, Tom Stokes, Nathan Greaves, Lewis Whitmore, Shane Hazelden.
