NATIONAL LEAGUE PAIRS, PREVIEW

Saturday October 15, 2016
KING’S Lynn are gearing up for a huge afternoon of action as they host the showpiece National League Pairs Championship at the Adrian Flux Arena on Sunday (3.30).

The top riders in the third tier will battle for major silverware in the popular event, which was originally postponed due to rain on August 27.

Elite League title winner Max Clegg, former Stars man Ashley Morris plus talented Poole reserve Adam Ellis will be amongst those in action.

The Young Stars will be represented by skipper Scott Campos and Ryan Kinsley as they fight to progress from a strong Group A.

King’s Lynn co-promoter Dale Allitt is expecting an exciting day of racing which will prove well worth the wait.

Said Allitt: “It was unfortunate the first running was rained off, but it’s still a very good line-up with lots of top riders on show.

“These meetings always tend to give you plenty of good racing. It was very competitive last year, and again when you look at the line-up there is no reason this year will be any different.

“We’re pleased to be hosting this event again, and I’m sure all 10 teams will be giving it their all to try and get some silverware with the end of the season approaching.”

Admission has been priced at £15 for adults and £4 for juniors.
