STARS racer Thomas Jorgensen says good things are just around the corner.

Jorgensen, a popular signing for King’s Lynn, is the first name on the team sheet for 2018.

And he says it’s time for the slate to be wiped clean after a tricky end to the year.

“We start again next year, it’s a fresh start for everyone at King’s Lynn,” he said.

“Hopefully we can sign some good riders soon and we can put a good team together, I don’t see why not.

“It’s a great home track, it’s big and fast and hopefully we can have riders who like that. It takes a few meetings to settle in there but once you are dialled in it’s a great place to be.

“It’s time for us to forget about last season and start again, I can only see good things for King’s Lynn and the fans in 2018.”

Jorgensen has confirmed he doesn’t need an operation on his troublesome knee – and training for next year has already started.

“I had the call early Thursday to say I don’t need an operation, despite the fact that it was bad cartilage damage,” he said.

“I’m pleased with the news and now I’m working hard. I can get my bicycle out and go to Cannock Chase in Staffordshire close to where I’m based and also work hard with physio Steve Williams in Aldridge.

“I’m looking to get back on a bike in the New Year, but I’m really pleased with this news.”
