KERR – TIME RIGHT TO COME ‘HOME’

Friday January 12, 2018
LOCAL lad Lewis Kerr believes he is returning to King’s Lynn a better rider after two years away.

Kerr rose through the ranks at the Adrian Flux Arena, starting his career in the National League with the Young Stars in 2010 and making his top flight bow with the Stars in 2014.

A change of race night saw him depart ahead of the 2016 season – but he believes the time away has helped him progress as a rider.

And he says the time was right to come ‘home’ for the 2018 SGB Premiership campaign.

Said Kerr: “I’ve had a couple of years away, but that’s probably done me a world of good really.

“I’ve gone away, learnt to ride other tracks and I think it’s made me a better rider overall.

“I feel like the time is right to come back, I’m happy to have the opportunity to ride for my local club again and I’m looking to have a good year.

“I’ve had some good memories there in the past and there will hopefully be a lot more to come, starting this season.”
