SIMON SAYS YES TO STARS

Wednesday July 11, 2018
KING’S Lynn have signed Simon Lambert on a 28-day contract to cover for injured reserve Kasper Andersen.

With the Tru Plant Stars having four home meetings in that period, three of which come within the space of a week, club bosses were keen to sign a rider with plenty of experience around the Adrian Flux Arena.

And with Lambert already having had seven different spells in King’s Lynn colours since 2004, the 29-year-old certainly fits that bill.

‘Lambo’ has started to see an upturn in form with Championship side Peterborough and is looking to build on that during his latest stint with the Stars in the top flight.

Meanwhile, the club continue to work hard behind the scenes as they search for a permanent replacement for Lewis Kerr.

The fans’ favourite has been ruled out for the remainder of the season and club bosses are assessing all eligible options available on an average of 5.79 or below.

The Stars travel to Leicester on Monday (July 16) before returning to home action seven days later (Monday, July 23, 7.30) when Poole are the visitors.
