BIG NIGHT PLANNED AGAINST PIRATES

Saturday August 25, 2018
KING’S LYNN boss Dale Allitt has vowed that it will be a “blockbuster” night against Poole as the Play-Off chase hits fever pitch.

The Tru Plant stars, after demolishing Wolves twice last week, take on the in-form Pirates at the Adrian Flux Arena on Wednesday night.

But not only is it a massive night on the shale, the club have announced over a dozen exclusive events for all generations - including a brilliant family ticket price with under-16s in for free.

There’s also free face painting, rider autographs in the fanszone, goody bags, special reaction bike and special retro heats.

Allitt admitted: “It’s arguably our biggest night for over a decade for King’s Lynn. We are closing in on a Play-Off place and up against the most-successful side of the modern era Poole, who are also on the verge of a top four place.

“It doesn’t get much better than this. We are on-form, at full strength and the place is absolutely buzzing.

“Not only that but we have a local boy British Champion Robert Lambert flying at the moment, the best rider in the Premiership right now.

“It’s going to be a blockbuster of a night. I can’t remember when we’ve had such a huge feel good factor at King’s Lynn.

“This is a great side we have and we want to go all the way to win the title. There’s a lot of hard work to do and Poole will be very tough opponents. It’s a huge night.”

Allitt is also excited that with it being the last home meeting before the end of the summer holidays, a big crowd is expected.

He added: “We are lucky at King’s Lynn because we have a great mix of young and old fans and they will all be catered for on Wednesday night.

“There’s so much going on. The promotion have worked really hard to make this a bumper night for all ages.

“I’m just gutted I’m only managing the team on the night. I’d prefer to be a fan, getting my face painted and enjoying it instead of the pressure of winning it!”
