GERMAN racer Erik Riss is delighted to be back with King’s Lynn after recovering from injury.
Riss made a successful return to the Poultec Stars with eight-points – including two wins – in Monday’s win over Swindon. Now Peter Schroeck’s men head down to Poole with more Premiership points up for grabs on Thursday. Riss said: “It had been just over a month off, but it took a bit longer than expected to recover. I was ready after three weeks but unfortunately, I couldn’t get back into the team which was quite disappointing at the time. “It was a positive, though, as it gave me more time to recover and I feel 100 per cent now. I was at a point where I was 100 per cent and I still had like a week until I had my first meeting. “I was fairly pleased with the win on Monday and it’s given me something to build on. Now I’m back I want to make the most of it.” Lynn face Poole twice in five days with their next home meeting coming up on Monday (July 8) also against the Pirates. POOLE: Sam Masters, Richie Worrall R/R, Nicolai Klindt, Josh Grajczonek, Jack Holder, Ricky Wells, Nikolaj Busk-Jakobsen. KING’S LYNN: Robert Lambert, Michael Palm Toft, Erik Riss, Thomas Jorgensen, Craig Cook, Lewis Kerr, Simon Lambert.
