KING’S Lynn racer Ty Proctor has paid tribute to the Stars promotion for their hard work and dedication.
With the Norfolk outfit unveiling a new team sponsor in locally based estate agents Minors and Brady last month, it that the club has a real passion for promoting and supporting local businesses which hasn’t gone unnoticed with the Aussie star.
Proctor said: “In the past King’s Lynn have always had good sponsorship from people and all of them have been very respectful, good businessmen and women that care about the club. Again, we have now got Minors and Brady that are another local company that care about the sport which is mega.
“It is a tribute to Buster (Chapman) and Dale (Allitt) who have put in all the hard work behind the scenes. A lot of fans don’t understand the hard work that goes on and the hard times behind the scenes with the hours and stuff like that.
“It is just like for riders you know, I worked every day and I went to the workshop every night building bikes for the best part of a month ready to go. Then I was talking to sponsors on the phone and juggling everything.
“For me at the start it was a little bit difficult but with the current situation I managed to juggle it and although the timing isn’t great, it helped me make sure I got everything in place.”
