LYNN SKIPPER IMPRESSES

Friday October 23, 2020
SKIPPER Lewis Kerr rounded off his racing for the year with another solid display at the National Speedway Stadium on Thursday.

Kerr was in a determined mood from the get-go, racing to double figures in the qualifying stages.

In what was a contender for race of the night, the Lynn lad took the chequered flag in Heat 18 in sensational style against former Star Rory Schlein.

Controversy followed as Kerr looked to have made a perfect getaway in the five-rider semi-final before referee Seth Perkin harshly pulled it back with the Stars favourite out in front.

The meeting was won for a third time in a row by GP star Jason Doyle ahead of British Under-21 Champion Dan Bewley and Aussie Brady Kurtz.

Kerr will now look to kick-on in 2021 following three back-to-back impressive performances in Manchester.
