STARS SET FOR OPENER

Monday April 08, 2024
KING'S Lynn are building up to their delayed home season opener against Belle Vue this Thursday (April 11).

The PSH Environmental Stars have been frustrated by the weather in planned home matches against Leicester and Birmingham, with both postponed and the conditions on the night did indeed prove unsuitable for racing.

However, the prospects for this week are far more encouraging with forecasts indicating much warmer, and dry, conditions should be in place for Thursday.

The Aces' final visit of 2023 of course produced high drama when the Stars raced to an unexpected victory over the league leaders, and they will look to start the season on the right footing at home on this occasion.

Team news for Thursday is due later in the week, but the Stars expect to be at full strength after Michael Palm Toft pulled out as a precaution of his Championship match for Scunthorpe against Redcar last Friday.
