KING’S LYNN will aim to round their home programme off on another high note when they take on play-off bound Leicester at the Adrian Flux Arena on Monday (September 2, 7.30pm).
The PSH Environmental Stars have won their last four ROWE Motor Oil Premiership fixtures - including a home double over Belle Vue and Sheffield last week.
Visitors Leicester are the league’s in-form side having shot up the standings courtesy of a ten match unbeaten run.
With that in mind, Stars team manager Rob Lyon is anticipating a highly entertaining contest and is looking forward to seeing what his latest makeshift side can do.
“It’s bizarre really because we’ve been running with the best possible guests we can given the circumstances with what’s available,” Lyon said.
“We seem to be pulling off terrific wins against teams that are thinking that they should come here and probably win.
“With all due respect, Leicester will probably fall into that same category so I think it should be a great match.”
British legend Chris Harris guests at No.1 with Belle Vue’s Norick Blodorn at No.4 and Simon Lambert stepping in at reserve.
Elsewhere, a change in the averages sees Rising Star Anders Rowe promoted into the main body of the team.
Leicester are led by Australian international Max Fricke and also include Luke Becker who top scored with 13 points when the Lions visited last month. Max James deputises for the injured Sam Hagon in the Rising Star berth.
KING’S LYNN: Chris Harris, Anders Rowe, Niels-Kristian Iversen, Norick Blodorn, Jan Kvech, Simon Lambert, Lewis Kerr. LEICESTER: Max Fricke, Richard Lawson, Sam Masters, Luke Becker, Ryan Douglas, Craig Cook, Max James.
