KING'S Lynn's Jan Kvech has clinched his first Czech Republic individual title.
Kvech stormed to a five ride 15-point maximum in Pilsen on Wednesday, meaning he topped the overall standings after two rounds.
He had been third in the opener in Koprivince, but his score in Pilsen was enough to take the crown ahead of Jan Macek and Jaroslav Vanicek.
Kvech's previous best in the national competition was second with Vaclav Milik having taken four of the last five titles, but on this occasion he was ruled out with a broken arm.
Whilst his commitments for the PSH Environmental Stars for the season ended last week, Kvech has also been back in the UK this week guesting for Ipswich in their play-off semi-final against Leicester.
