KING'S Lynn captain Nicolai Klindt made his racing comeback at Ostrow on Sunday in the traditional final meeting of the season in Poland.
Klindt had been sidelined for nearly four months having suffered serious neck injuries for the second year running when he was involved in a crash at Gdansk, ruling him out of a large chunk of the PSH Environmental Stars' schedule.
After receiving full clearance, he returned to the track in the 'Coat of Arms Chain' event which went ahead despite concerns over the weather.
And after running a last place in his first ride, the Danish star was quickly back on the pace and scored nine points from his remaining four outings.
That placed him seventh overall, in a meeting won by former Grand Prix star Patryk Dudek.
Klindt finished one point behind Leicester's Luke Becker, and one point ahead of ex-Stars racer Frederik Jakobsen. Mathias Nielsen and Norbert Krakowiak were the other rostrum finishers.
