NIELS-Kristian Iversen has revealed the Peterborough team which will be racing in his Testimonial meeting on Sunday March 16 (3pm).
Iversen’s big day at the Adrian Flux Arena is now less than a fortnight away, with the main event set to feature a Four Team Tournament made up of four of his current and former clubs.
He won the Elite League title with Peterborough in 2006, and he also raced for the Panthers in their final season at the East of England Arena in 2023.
Peterborough will be represented by Danish stars Michael Jepsen Jensen and Peter Kildemand along with current Ipswich captain Danny King and new Stars signing Ben Cook.
Iversen rode with King during his first spell at Owlerton, and with Cook two years ago, whilst Jepsen Jensen – who is back in British Speedway this season with Birmingham – started his UK career with the Panthers in 2011-12.
Iversen said: “It’s a strong line-up with Grand Prix winners and former Danish World Cup colleagues MJJ and Peter Kildemand, former British Champion Danny King and new Stars No.1 Ben Cook, whom I both teamed up with at Peterborough.”
The line-up for the remaining team representing Newport is coming soon, and sponsorship packages for riders and fuel/tyres are available from puks.testimonial@yahoo.com .
