COOK INJURY BLOW

Tuesday April 15, 2025
KING’S Lynn racer Ben Cook faces a period on the sidelines following his crash at the Adrian Flux Arena on Monday.

The Australian, who had forced his way into second place in Heat 10 as the PSH Environmental Stars looked set for a 5-1 in the narrow win over Leicester, came to grief spectacularly on the fourth bend.

Cook has confirmed he has suffered a broken radius and scaphoid, and he will be flying to Poland on Wednesday morning to hopefully have an operation later this week.

All at King’s Lynn wish him a speedy recovery, and we will update on his likely recovery time when more is known.

Stars have a relatively quiet run of ROWE Motor Oil Premiership fixtures coming up, with only two matches in the next month – starting on Monday April 28 when they face Oxford at home.
