KING'S Lynn head to local rivals Ipswich on Thursday defending a six-point advantage in their bid to reach the Premiership KO Cup Final.
The 48-42 victory at home last month was the first of three memorable Adrian Flux Arena wins this season against the Witches, culminating in Monday's back-to-the-wall triumph.
But whilst the PSH Environmental Stars have very much laid the Ipswich bogey to rest at home this summer, racing at Foxhall is a different matter and Lynn will be underdogs on Thursday, albeit still very much in with a chance.
At the original time of the second leg fixture back in early June, Ipswich were suffering from injury problems, before bad weather prevented the match from taking place.
Now the Witches are effectively back at full-strength with their top six riders all involved, and the replacement of the injured Jordan Jenkins with Jason Edwards in the Rising Star berth can very much be seen as a like-for-like switches.
Ipswich have taken advantage of the fact that Edwards was taken out of the Birmingham team due to injury last month and has not yet been re-inserted at Perry Barr, meaning he is eligible to guest elsewhere.
For the Stars, Niels-Kristian Iversen remains on the sidelines although he is expected to return for next Monday's home clash with Belle Vue.
Former Ipswich rider Lewis Kerr comes in to guest for Ben Cook in the middle order, whilst Luke Harrison takes over the Rising Star spot.
The previous meeting between the clubs at Foxhall this season came on May Day Bank Holiday when the Stars raced into a shock 24-18 lead after seven races, only to fade in the second half of the contest and go down 53-37.
Manager Rob Lyon said: "There's no reason why we can't show the character we showed on Monday, and we will certainly be going there and giving 100 per cent.
"That's all you can ever ask of anyone in anything, and if that 100 per cent is good enough on Thursday then it will be good enough to get us through."
