KING'S Lynn are delighted to kick off their 2026 team announcements with British speedway legend Chris Harris returning for a second season with the club.
The 43-year-old repeatedly proves age is no barrier and was responsible for many memorable moments during his first season with the PSH Environmental Stars this year.
He started the campaign with a devastating burst of high scoring at reserve, whilst also coming agonisingly close to a fourth British title in an epic deciding race at Belle Vue.
There were then crucial contributions towards the Stars' sensational KO Cup semi-final triumph over Ipswich, and a typically spectacular 15-point maximum in a big home win over Oxford in mid-August.
Harris ended the campaign with a Premiership average of 6.70, which is discounted to 6.53 for team building purposes for the Stars.
And he admits he's delighted to be back at the Adrian Flux Arena next season, and is excited by the team plans which are coming together.
Harris said: "It's good to be back. As a rider I don't like to keep jumping between different clubs, so it's great to be settled and have a second season at King's Lynn.
"I still feel I've got unfinished business there after the season we had this year, and I enjoy the track and working with the people there, so it was an easy decision for me.
"The aim of course is to win the league, and the club are certainly ambitious. The team they're talking about is very exciting and I'm really looking forward to being a part of it, and hopefully we can fulfil the goals that the club deserve.
"(Son) Cruz is happy with the news as well, I think he's more popular than I am there! He's made to feel welcome wherever he goes, and he loves being with me at King's Lynn."
The Stars are progressing well with other team affairs and expect to be in a position to issue further news in the near future.
