KING'S Lynn Speedway are sorry to hear of the injuries received by Dan Bewley in a crash in Denmark on Wednesday.

Bewley, who had made a great start to the season, suffered a broken femur and compressed vertebrae in the accident, which looks likely to mean a significant period on the sidelines.

Obviously it is a major blow for Belle Vue but it's also a blow for the league and the sport as a whole as we will miss out on seeing one of our most exciting riders in action.

We wish Dan all the very best for his recovery and hope to see him back racing as soon as possible.
