KING’S Lynn race their final ROWE Motor Oil Premiership fixture of the season when they visit Northampton on Thursday (7.30pm).
Until Monday it looked like this would be a critical match for the PSH Environmental Stars as had Ipswich lost at Leicester, it would have meant an away win at the Shaleway would have taken Lynn into the play-offs.
But with the Witches winning at the Hydroscand Arena it effectively ruled the Stars out of contention, and Sheffield then completed the formality of securing own play-off place when they beat Northampton at Owlerton on Wednesday.
That means it’s pride only at stake in the Stars’ last match of 2026, at a venue where they won earlier in the season in the KO Cup before going down 48-42 in their first league visit, taking the aggregate point in a Super Heat.
Both teams are at full strength and there are three league points available as the reverse fixture at the Adrian Flux Arena was drawn 45-45. Stars fans not heading to Northampton can live stream to the action on BSN https://www.britishspeedwaynetwork.co.uk/ and updates will be available on our social media channels and at https://live.britishspeedway.co.uk/ .
