ISLE OF WIGHT V YOUNG STARS, PREVIEW

Monday June 27, 2016
KING’S Lynn Young Stars boss Dale Allitt is delighted to be returning to National League action as they travel to the Isle of Wight on Tuesday (7.30).

The Stebbings Car Superstore side suffered a heavy defeat at Eastbourne in the Knockout Cup on Sunday afternoon.

However, Allitt is backing them to bounce back and add to their National League points tally at Smallbrook.

Said Allitt: “It was a disappointing result for us on Sunday, but Eastbourne is always a difficult track to visit as it’s very alien to a lot of our riders.

“Isle of Wight is somewhere a little bit different, and we are looking forward to getting back into league racing.

“We’re hoping to come away with some points, and although it’ll be difficult I think we are capable of getting something.”

ISLE OF WIGHT: Joe Jacobs, Kelsey Dugard, Lee Smart, Mark Baseby, James Cockle, Tyler Govier, Nick Phillips.
KING’S LYNN: Josh Bailey, Scott Campos, Ryan Kinsley, Tom Stokes, Nathan Greaves, Lewis Whitmore, Shane Hazelden.
