YOUNG STARS v KENT, PREVIEW

Tuesday July 05, 2016
KING'S Lynn Young Stars boss Dale Allitt has called on his side to pick up where they left off when they return to home action against Kent on Wednesday (7.30).

The Stebbings Car Superstore side stormed to a superb 51-39 win over Cradley in their last outing at the Adrian Flux Arena back on. June 8.

They will now face another stern test as the high-flying Kings visit Norfolk for a mouth-watering National League encounter.

The Central Park side are unbeaten in their opening six National League fixtures - but Allitt believes his side have what it takes to condemn them to their first league defeat.

Said Allitt: "It almost feels like starting again as it’s a month since we’ve last raced at home, which was the excellent win over Cradley.

"We are in for a difficult meeting against a Kent team who are going extraordinarily well, and they certainly won’t be weakened by bringing in Rob Branford - who knows this place very well - for Luke Bowen.

"They have riders who go well around our place, but we need to get back up the league table and the boys will be ready for it."

King's Lynn will be at full strength, whilst Kent have drafted in former British Under 21 Champion Robert Branford to guest for Luke Bowen at No.1. They also operate rider replacement to cover for the injured David Mason in the No.2 spot.

KING'S LYNN: Josh Bailey, Scott Campos, Ryan Kinsley, Tom Stokes, Nathan Greaves, Lewis Whitmore, Shane Hazelden.
KENT: Robert Branford, David Mason R/R, James Shanes, Luke Clifton, Danny Ayres, Danno Verge, Jack Thomas.
