NATIONAL LEAGUE PAIRS, PREVIEW

Friday August 26, 2016
KING’S Lynn Young Stars boss Dale Allitt is anticipating an unmissable night of action as they host the National League Pairs on Saturday (7pm).

The top riders in the third tier of British racing will descend upon the Adrian Flux Arena as they all chase major silverware.

Allitt says they are delighted to be hosting the showpiece event – and he is expecting plenty of exciting racing over the course of the evening.

Said Allitt: “It’s always nice to host a shared event, and it’s something we’ve become quite accustomed to at King’s Lynn to be fair.

“The National League Pairs was a great meeting here last season so we’re looking forward to another entertaining evening.

“We’ve got Saturday night racing on a Bank Holiday weekend, featuring some great young riders under the lights so you can’t ask for much more really.

“These sorts of meetings are always exciting, and it’s a great opportunity for the whole league. I’m sure all the teams and riders involved will be arriving with hopes of leaving with the trophy, and I’m expecting some exciting racing over the course of the evening.”

King’s Lynn are represented by Nathan Greaves and Tom Stokes, who has come in as a replacement for broken collarbone victim Josh Bailey.

They will take part in Group A alongside Cradley, Eastbourne, Mildenhall and Isle of Wight. The top two after 10 heats will progress to the semi-finals.
