KING'S Lynn Young Stars have secured the services of Taylor Hampshire for the remainder of the season.

The 15-year-old made a fine impression during his club debut as a guest earlier this month against the Coventry Storm.

With Shane Hazelden ruled out with leg injuries, the Young Stars have moved to snap up the youngster for their final nine meetings of the campaign.

Team boss Dale Allitt said: "Taylor was very keen to join us and we were very keen to include him in our line-up so it's a perfect match really.

"He's a local lad with plenty of potential and we look forward to working with him for the rest of the season."

Tonight, the Adrian Flux Arena hosts the 2016 National League Pairs (7.00).

Tom Stokes and Nathan Greaves will be representing the Young Stars on what promises to be a fascinating night of speedway.
