CRADLEY 61 YOUNG STARS 29

Wednesday March 29, 2017
KING'S LYNN Young Stars suffered a heavy 61-29 defeat against Cradley on the opening night of the 2017 SGB National League season.

The Norfolk outfit struggled against a powerful Heathens side and were able to record just three race wins in the Midlands.

Young Stars skipper Danny Phillips said: "It was a frustrating night for us all really and we just couldn't match Cradley.

"It's a tough one to take but we all have to learn from it.

"We know we can all do better than what we have done tonight so we have to work hard now before our next meeting at home to Birmingham on April 12."

CRADLEY 61: Tom Perry 15, Danny Ayres 11+3, Dan Greenwood 10+1, Luke Harris 8+1, Joe Lawlor 7+1, Conor Dwyer 6+2, Ryan Burton 4+2.
