STARS BOSS WANTS SPIRITED DISPLAY

Wednesday September 22, 2021
KING’S Lynn enter their final two meetings of the season when they head to Peterborough on Thursday (7.30).

Boss Alex Brady wants to see maximum effort and pride from his side as they prepare to bring the curtain down on a difficult campaign.

After the Peterborough trip they head to Sheffield on Sunday to finish the season.

“Of course these final two meetings in 2021 are important for spirit and morale, but 2022 is what we have been working towards for a while now.
“Let’s just hope we can go out with our heads held high with a couple more spirited performances and then if we can deliver what we’re hoping for over the winter, then we’re in for an exciting year in 2022.”

The Minors and Brady Stars have been handed a blow with the withdrawal of Craig Cook who is now unavailable.

Said Brady: “We understand why Craig has had to do this and he was most apologetic when he informed us but he has a personal issue to attend to on Thursday.

“Our relationship with Craig is absolutely fine and we wouldn’t hesitate to ask him again when needed.”
