KING’S Lynn’s new Polish No.1 Tobiasz Musielak says he’s delighted to have the Adrian Flux Arena as his home circuit this season.
The 30-year-old has joined the Stars after two successful seasons with Sheffield, albeit he missed out on the Tigers’ league title success last autumn as he was already ruled out with a broken leg.
And having also been part of Premiership winning Swindon sides in 2017 and 2019, there’s no doubt Lynn have signed a rider who knows what it takes to be part of team honours.
Musielak said: “After being released by the Tigers, I never thought, 'oh, it's time to say goodbye to England.'
“If I hadn't found a club on my terms by now, I would have waited patiently for a contract offer during the season. But I agreed terms with King's Lynn, so I am glad to be here.
“I like the King’s Lynn track shape a lot. Many years ago, it used to be very grippy and I couldn’t turn the bike in the corner.
“Now it’s a beautiful track, where you can enjoy racing and use the throttle in the right way.
“It’s pure fun to ride at Saddlebow Road now. I guess it’s just behind Belle Vue in its similarity to a typically Polish track shape."
Musielak has featured in a two-week interview series with top Polish journalist Tomasz Lorek in Speedway Star magazine.
