STARS ON TRACK IN POLAND

Sunday March 31, 2024
KING'S Lynn duo Vadim Tarasenko and Tobiasz Musielak have both been on track in Poland this weekend after being frustrated by the weather in the UK.

Following the postponement of Thursday's clash with Leicester, both were in action on Friday in sparring matches ahead of the new league season.

Tarasenko scored 5+2 in Grudziadz's 51-39 defeat at Torun, but 24 hours later they turned the tables with a 52-38 win at home, with Tarasenko scoring 9+3 in that meeting.

Meanwhile Tobiasz Musielak collected 7+1 for Ostrow in their trip to Ekstraliga side Zielona Gora, which resulted in a 49-41 win for the hosts.

Michael Palm Toft was due to line up for Scunthorpe against Workington in the BSN Series on Friday, but that meeting was postponed after heavy rain hit the Eddie Wright Raceway shortly before start time.

The PSH Environmental Stars will look to get their home season up and running this week when they face Birmingham on Thursday (7.30pm).

The Brummies are expected to include their big winter signing Piotr Pawlicki after he made a successful return from injury in Poland, finishing third in the Edward Jancarz Memorial event at Gorzow.
